Shang Palace is the benchmark for Chinese gastronomy in Paris. The only Michelin-starred restaurant in France, it is a true benchmark for lovers of Cantonese cuisine. Located in the Palace du Shangri-La Paris, this gourmet restaurant is sure to please. Did you miss the restaurant or did you really want to discover it? You can now go back there since September 1, 2021.
To mark the occasion, Chef Samuel Lee has decided to rework the menus on offer. At lunchtime, a Dim Sum menu, a 58€ Lunch Menu and a 78€ Tasting Menu are offered in addition to the à la carte dishes.
Discover our Organic Chicken Effiloché with salad and spicy sesame vinaigrette, Ha Kao, Siu Mai, Bouchée Rubis, Bouchée St Jacques & crevettes, Wok of the day and Chef's Stir-Fried Rice.
For dinner, the chef offers new dishes such as Wonton Soup or Black Angus, an emblematic dish based on Hua Diao wine and tender beef accompanied by sautéed kale. A light, aromatic recipe for total immersion, opening a veritable window on Asia right in the heart of Paris. But you're also free to indulge in the 60-course à la carte menu for even more discoveries.
The Shang Palace, and in particular Samuel Lee's cuisine, is a marriage of traditional dishes and original products. Constantly on the lookout for new ideas, the chef proposes new dishes such as the excellent Beggar's Chicken, which can be ordered 48 hours in advance. This poultry, cooked in a clay crust and stuffed with mushrooms, is a delight on the palate.
Fans of food and wine pairings? You're in for a treat! The Shang Palace combines the best of authentic Cantonese cuisine with the finest French wines from each region. The delicious cuisine of Shang Palace can be accompanied by a rosé wine from Cuvée d'Esclans, or a bottle from a historic Bordeaux estate. A fine selection of inexpensive Bordeaux wines, including Château l'Evangile and Mission Haut-Brion, are also on offer.
