We must say that you better enjoy wine and fresh produces to really enjoy this table. Both a seasonal canteen and a wine bar and cellar, Le P’tit Pinard cannot be categorized but has one will: treating hedonists. And it’s a success!
Wednesday night, 8 p.m. If the week has just started, the atmosphere here is very lively. Glasses slam, dishes to share (or not!) dance between the wooden tables and voices rise.
And this all around the open-plan kitchen, a sort of gourmet DJ booth enlivening the room. Behind the stoves, conductor Charlotte sends very mouthwatering dishes. We tried the homemade pâté with apple and port, slices of butternut and sage butter, pancetta, orange and a mixed board you’ll tell us about. Each dish is made with great care for gustatory detail.
If it whets your appetite (and I get it), not sure these delights are still available. The menu changes every week, with the season and the chef’s mood. By the way, it’s not the same all day long. For lunch, the wine bar turns into a seasonal family canteen. Two starters, two main courses and two desserts always changing. You’ll come back again and again.
Whether you visit them for lunch, dinner or brunch on weekends, the house’s wines are endless. Here, each bottle is the result of love at first sight experienced by the masters of the place, Julien and Charlotte.
And as for us, Le P’tit Pinard is our new love!
