When Christo also inspires gastronomy... As a tribute to the artist who died last spring, and to mark thepackaging of the Arc de Triomphe, Maison Albar Hotels - Le Pont-Neuf is offering gourmets a selection of "packaged" dishes at Odette, the hotel's restaurant, from September 18 to October 3, 2021.
From appetizer to dessert, celebrate the art of Christo on your plate, while enjoying a fine meal! For starters, there's a runny soft-boiled egg with chanterelle mushrooms, walnuts and a creamy emulsion, followed by wrapped cod (en papillote) with parsnips, roasted porcini mushrooms, butternut and rosemary. For dessert, enjoy honey-roasted figs, roasted almond ice cream and a crunchy tuile sprinkled with drops of yuzu gel.
Three dishes imagined by chef Rémi Henaux and available on the restaurant's menu, which you can choose from all the rest. Please note that no specific menu is offered, as the restaurant invites you to choose one, two or three of the tribute dishes, indicated on the menu by a small punch. And for even more gourmet delights, head to Maison Albar Hotels - Le Champs-Élysées to discover Jeffrey Cagnes' bespoke tribute pastry, depicting a wrapped triumphal arch.
