We told you about the La Fabrique à Toga because of the delicious brunch served at weekends. This winter 2021, Olivier Stehly has decided to open a temporary winter terrace featuring gondola lifts. And of course, whoever speaks of gondola lifts thinks of mountain-inspired dishes. Including tasty raclette as served by the La Fabrique à Toga.
Head to Bercy Village’s fantastic Cour Saint-Emilion that provides a wonderful sparkling umbrella sky for Christmas lights, and have a seat in one of the gondolas to enjoy a very scrumptious meal. Please note raclettes are served in the gondolas only, because of the smell – the chef told us.
On the menu, a hearty board of cold cuts to share. Ham, cured ham, and Swiss dried beef are on the menu. The board is served with baby potatoes and raclette cheese, of course. To cook you raclette cheese slices, each guests has a little individual stove.
Do not be afraid of being cold, the stove is enough to heat the lift and it is hot enough inside to feel the need to open the doors! To finish, go for the chef’s pastries such as the famous Toga Pop – delicious cakes on sticks.
Note the terrace features about a dozen lifts including a gondola for 4 people, and 4 lifts for 2 guests. Allow €29 per person for the raclette.
