Judy: the gluten-free, quality restaurant in Paris

Paris is full of places where healthy eating is a real pleasure, and Judy has established itself as a must for lovers of healthy, gourmet and balanced cuisine. Since opening in 2016, Judy has conquered the Left Bank with its innovative concept of organic, local and seasonal canteen, counter and grocery store. Created by Australian naturopath and micro-nutritionist Dominique Gassin, this gluten-free, qualitative restaurant is committed to sustainable eating.

Since opening in 2016, Judy has established itself as a pioneering restaurant in Paris for healthy, balanced cuisine. Nestled near the Luxembourg Gardens in the 6th arrondissement, Judy is an eye-catcher with its warm frontage and sunny terrace.

Once inside, the welcoming atmosphere and commitment to sustainable eating are immediately apparent. Because Judy's values are not limited to nutrition, they also advocate a genuine philosophy of qualitative living: at Judy's, we care about our bodies, our minds, but also about others and the planet.

The cuisine is 100% gluten-free, with recipes designed by Dominique Gassin according to the precepts of naturopathy. Plates are balanced, healthy and colorful, and feature the use of superfoods such as spirulina, fermented vegetables (like kimchi), pickles and chia seeds.

As well as being gluten-free, the dishes are also lactose-free and often vegan, offering a variety to suit many diets. Judy's inclusive menu is crafted from organic, local and seasonal produce, with no additives or refined sugar. This attention to detail and quality has earned Judy Ecotable certification, the first sustainable catering label to attest to its commitment to an environmentally-friendly approach.

But Judy's commitment goes far beyond the plate, as the overall atmosphere of the place is designed to promote well-being. Computers are banned at lunchtime, to encourage relaxation and disconnection, and the terrace is non-smoking, to keep everyone healthy.

Once again, this nugget from the Coolangatta group hits hard and seduces, thanks to dishes that are as beautiful as they are good, and that do good, in every sense of the word. Whether for breakfast, lunch during the week or brunch at the weekend, Judy has something for every taste bud, without compromise.

Must-tries include fluffy pancakes, banana bread "French toast" with almond butter, and signature vegetarian bowls like the bali bowl and buddha bowl. On the beverage side, the offer is as meticulous as the dishes. You can enjoy cold-pressed detox juices, collagen-enriched naturo lattes like the famous matcha, or specialty coffees roasted in the Coutume workshops in the Paris region.

A qualitative cuisine that you might also want to take home. And since 2019, it's possible, thanks to the opening of its Judy Market grocery store. It's an offer that lets you extend the Judy experience by taking home your bowl, pastries, salads, almond purees, jars of fermented vegetables and other collagen-rich broths, or simply your coffee and other hot drinks in reusable eco-cups.

And the good news is that last summer, Judy opened a new address on rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, so you can enjoy her gourmet gluten-free brunch every day, all day long!
