Augustin Legrand and the members of his family and relatives have decided to leap into action and react to the junk food-eating society in which we live, and we are even not aware of doing so. They opened an organic restaurant near the Hôpiral Saint Louis: Le Bichat.
In a simple décor, large wooden table, colorful paper lanterns… almost entirely done by themselves, they wanted to create a place where we can eat healthy and without breaking the bank.
Their main course is a bowl of rice to which we add raw or cooked vegetables, fishes, meat or eggs. The whole is cooked in jar, with their jus to preserve all the flavors. Every day, the base of the bowl changes. On the menu too, fresh soups and homemade desserts such as banana cake or apple-cinnamon muffins. In order not to deny yourself a pleasure, prices are attractive. Allow €3 for a soup, €8 for the rice bowl and €2 for dessert.
Le Bichat team expects to cook with its own produces very soon, produces coming from their own gardens and covets opening other addresses where people can come in an atmosphere like at home to eat healthy without being hungry again 2 hours after and most of all, at a low cost!
