Fans of Christophe Michalak's sweet treats can smile... The famous pastry chef has finally opened his own patisserie, in the 4th arrondissement of the capital this Tuesday, October 6, 2015. We're off to discover his pastries by the metre, his kosmiks and all the rest.

The success story for Christophe Michalak continues... While the Pastry Chef already officiates at the Plaza Athénée, appears on TV's " Dans la peau d'un chef " and delights the taste buds of many a gourmet with his school, the Michalak Masterclass, the 2005 Pastry World Cup winner has no intention of stopping and is opening his own pastry shop in Paris, just behind the BHV!

And since he can't be all hands on deck, he decided to surround himself with the best, and appointed Tristan Rousselot (finalist in the 3rd season of "Qui sera le prochain grand pâtissier") as head pastry chef in charge of this new address.

A small boutique offering a concentrate of the French pastry chef's sweet creations to passers-by and fans of the chef's signature desserts, albeit less elaborately crafted than at the Plaza Athénée.

A lover of chocolate but also a fan of citrus fruits, Christophe Michalak delights all palates with a variety of recipes, renewed every week. You'll always find chocolate, coffee, caramel or yuzu desserts, and you'll also be tempted by UFO desserts such as his maple-muscovado baba (whole cane sugar).

We can assure you that you'll find THE dessert that will awaken your palate, and even a few gourmet delights to keep by your side: we're totally in love with Klaquettes de chocolat, crazy chocolate beggars priced at 10€ per 100gr, or Truks, presented as "little chocolate surprises that make Krok and Krak, that explode in your mouth and fit in your pocket", available at 8.5€ per 100gr).

However, we warn you, on the first day, the place was a victim of its own success, and most of the cakes were gone in an hour!
