Parisians who love Japanese culture have their new HQ! Called Kafé Buki, it's a new coffee shop set up in the dynamic Sentier district of Paris. Borrowing the best codes from Japanese culture, this café truly transports you to the land of the Rising Sun, thanks in particular to a meticulous decor harmoniously combining tradition (natural, untreated wood and clean lines) and modernity.
At Kafé Buki, you'll find a relaxing, soothing atmosphere, ideal for taking your time and unwinding. " Take your time, we'll give you ours," smiles barista Nir Chouchana, 2014 French Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, who co-manages the place withOlivier Tordjman. While some workaholics will take the opportunity to work on site, others will prefer to devour one of the mangas available on site (and also for sale) while sipping a good cup of coffee.
For at Kaké Buki, as in Japan, coffee-making is a veritable art. That's why Nir Chouchana and Olivier Tordjman have made a point of respecting traditional Japanese techniques in order to make a quality coffee. Here, coffee can be enjoyed in a variety of ways: latte, drip-brewed for 24 hours for a unique cold brew, or pure-origin coffee made with a siphon coffee maker. One of the house's specialties is the Kurimu coffee: a full-bodied signature espresso sublimated by an ultra-light foam of whipped cream and customizable with raspberry, agave syrup or matcha. Kurimu is also available in matcha or genmaicha.
Matcha latte is also featured, as are teas (senchu, Hojicha...) and hot chocolate for cocoa lovers. Of course, at Kafé Buki, you can quench your thirst on the spot, or take your beverage to go. And don't forget that Pure Origine filter coffee is on tap!

To accompany these hot and cold drinks, Kafé Buki offers a savory offering ofhomemade onigiris and donburis. For those with a sweet tooth, the café has teamed up with a big name in Japanese pastry: Tomo. On the menu? Dorayaki with fleur de sel, Japanese cheesecake with yuzu or delicious mochi with black sesame or matcha. For a little French touch, Kafé Buki also tickles our taste buds with waffles topped with airy whipped cream!
And the cheerful, friendly Kafé Buki team has no shortage of ideas for bringing this new place to life, with a number of events in the pipeline, including coffee workshops. So, are you ready to disconnect in the heart of Paris thanks to Kafé Buki?
