Gourmet restaurant guide - activities

A gastronomic restaurant is a showcase for French or other haute cuisine, with perfectly executed and prepared dishes, sophisticated cooking techniques, choice or even luxury products, impeccable service (the waiter who comes to refill your glass as soon as it's empty), a chic, hushed decor and atmosphere, a well-dressed table, usually a renowned chef, a pastry chef, and a meticulous wine list. They are usually Michelin-starred, but not necessarily Michelin-starred.
