Urban Jump, the Trampoline Park in Maurepas, near Paris, has finally reopened its doors! With a surface area of 2,000 m2, the park is sure to please. Trampolines galore, a relaxation area and Ninja Warrior parkour await young and old alike. The site is now closed for good.

Jump arcades are beginning to spring up around the capital, and we're not done telling you about them yet. After Beauchamp, a second Urban Jump is opening in Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, in the Maurepas shopping zone. The 4th trampoline park in the Paris region, in addition to Space Jump and O'Jump Park. It's a Jump park like no other, because it's got a number of attractive features that are sure to win you over.

A spacious area of over 2,000 m2 is revealed to us. On one side is the relaxation area, with changing rooms and a very large birthday and vent room at the back, and on the other are the sports and play areas. Once you've paid the entrance fee and bought the appropriate socks (unless you've already got your own), children (aged 7 and over) and adults warm up with an activity leader before setting off for the various areas.

Parents who don't want to jump can sit back in the relaxation area to enjoy a drink and keep an eye on their children, since the jumping areas are at eye level.

The partners who launched the project carefully thought out their space by touring existing Jump Parks in France. Once everything had been tested (one of the partners being a former trampolinist), they drew several conclusions:

  • Safety is paramount. To meet this essential criterion, all spaces were created to generate a single jump finish line. Wide circulation areas were also provided, with a large warm-up area. The modules have also been designed to avoid crossing the jumping areas as much as possible.

  • Adapted time slots. Aware that you can quickly look like Sponge Bob in under 30 minutes, the managers have decided to give you the option of adding hours at a lower cost only if you're feeling up to it. You're free to go ahead if the kids are full of energy, but you can start slowly and see what happens.

  • Work the legs, yes, but the arms too! The great thing about a jump park is that you get a lot of leg work, but being able to work your arms (and rest your legs at the same time) is even better. And so the park is equipped with horizontal and vertical climbing areas, as well as a modular Ninja Warrior area. It's up to you to rise to the challenge!

  • Something for everyone! When you've got a free-fall area, but it's too high and scary at first sight, you'll be delighted to discover that at Urban Jump Maurepas, 3 different heights await you. So we can start with the lowest and see if our temerity will take us further. As for the basketball area, 3 different heights of basket await fans of all sizes who want to try their hand at dunking. No frustration for the little ones.

In concrete terms, what's on offer?

Note that the site offers birthday packages at €19.90 per child for a minimum of 10 children. This includes a birthday table in a separate room, a T-shirt, jumping socks, drinks and a cake. Tip: choose the morning slots to enjoy pizzas for the same price. Team Building formulas will also soon be available to challenge your colleagues.

A word of advice, friends: if you want to avoid the smala, opt for the morning slot! How about a little jumping around, folks?
