Head to the Château de Vincennes for the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event, on October 19 and 20, 2024. On the program for these two days are various workshops and games to help you discover the château in a fun way!

Monument jeu d'enfant is back for a weekend of free activities for children: at the Château de Vincennes, there's a whole program to immerse you in the history of the monument, and meet its illustrious occupants.

Discover the way of life of the castle's inhabitants in the Middle Ages. Through tours and a series ofworkshops, young and old alike can immerse themselves in this fascinating period. Built in 1150 in the forest of Vincennes to protect the capital, this castle is one of the most important inFrench history, and one of the largest and best-preserved fortified castles in Europe...

Known for its role as a royal residence in the 14th century, the château served as a prison and was converted into barracks by Napoleon I. The fortress is still home to the Service historique de la Défense. In addition, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (National Monuments Center) offers visitors the chance to tour the King's apartments, the Sainte-Chapelle and even the upper sections of the Donjon, in a restored version!

    Oyez, Oyez! Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, the Middle Ages are back at Château de Vincennes for a weekend! For this occasion, relive the great hours of King Charles V's residence, by sitting at the King's table for a royal banquet, and in costume if you please. Immerse yourself in a musical and storytelling epic in the footsteps of Richard the Lionheart and the Plantagenet dynasty. Or go on a scenery hunt through the corridors and nooks and crannies of Europe's tallest keep!
