Stud'Yo closed its doors for good in June 2023.
It's become the place to be for Clichy families: since Stud' Yo opened in September 2020, it's a resource center for moms, dads, children, grandparents... And even people who don't have children of their own, but who are just as welcome to take advantage of this family third-place, now firmly rooted in the neighborhood.
The project is Delphine' s: mother of three daughters, she quit her old job after giving birth to her third, because she couldn't stand working there any longer. "I needed to create my own project, so I set up Stud'Yo", she explains. Quicker said than done, however, if you were looking for a family-run place in Clichy today, this is without a doubt the first one you'd come across. Since then, Delphine has expanded her team: right from the opening, Aurélia joined her in the adventure, followed now byInès, a communications student on work-study.
All week long, Stud' Yooffers workshops for children, with early-learning sessions, circus,English, early music, dance... After-school sessions for older children, or after-nap sessions for those not yet enrolled in school. Moms are also entitled to their own program, with cafés papote, well-being massages, prenatal yoga, gym tonic and other activities, offered on an ad hoc or more regular weekly basis. In fact, if we had to sum up Stud'Yo in a single sentence, we'd say it's a place for life. Here, you'll be greeted with a smile all day long, and your little one can wake up in the various playrooms (one for sensory stimulation, one for imitation games, a free-play area), play on the playmats, try his hand at a puzzle, put on a disguise or play a game of dinette. For infants, enclosed areas and deckchairs are available in the coffee room.
Then it's on to thecoffeshop area (the main room), where teleworkers are welcome on weekdays, except on Wednesdays and weekends when the place is packed with little ones. Wifi is free, there are sockets everywhere, the space is bright and, best of all, you're served coffee, hot drinks, lunch and desserts all day long: all you have to do is think about your PC, everything else is already there. One small detail: Stud' Yo is a shoe-free venue, so slip on your best pair of socks (or your most glamorous slippers) and leave your sneakers in the lockers provided. We'll even lend you a pair of slippers on the spot.
Wednesdays, then, are children's days: an opportunity to come and have a snack at Stud'Yo, with homemade cakes (white chocolate cookies, marble cake...), hot drinks (coffee, lattes, teas, infusions, chocolates), local fruit juices or to let off steam all afternoon in thefree play area (accessible only to 0-3 year olds). During the vacations and on Wednesdays, Stud'Yo goes into "leisure center" mode, offering creative activities and games... Registration is open to all: you don't have to live in Clichy for your child to take part.
What's on the menu at Stud'Yo? Dishes concocted on site by Ouliana, a chef from Clichy who prepares desserts and other dishes... We love the breakfast menu, available as soon as Stud' Yo opens, or the all-you-can-eat brunch(two courses at 10.30am and 12.30pm, reservation required) every Saturday and Sunday. The Stud' Yo menu even includes baby food, so you don't have to bring everything from home.
