For a whole week, enjoyfree, fun activities and entertainment at museums, universities and institutions across the Paris region, and meet scientists and professionals, around the theme of Sport and Science, ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A great way to raise public awareness of current scientific issues.
In Paris, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac invites you to the 32nd edition on October 7 and 8, 2023. Dedicated to the arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, the museum is located near the Eiffel Tower, on the left bank of the Seine, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Inaugurated in 2006, it bears the name of the former French president and brings together some 370,000 works in an impressive collection, including sculptures, masks, textiles, ritual objects and much more.
In addition to its permanent collection, the museum offers regular temporary exhibitions and a variety of events exploring different aspects of the art, traditions and culture of the featured regions.
