For the 36thedition of European Heritage Days, La Scala welcomes your for a private guided tour provided by the place’s editorial advisor Olivier Schmitt on Saturday September 21, 2019. This venue set in Paris 15th arrondissement more precisely provides its first participation to the cultural event and to discover its very own story from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., noon to 12:45 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:14 p.m. (by registration).
Built in 1873, the Concert de la Scala was one of the most famous café-concerts from the Belle Epoque, converted into an Art Déco cinema in 1936. In 1977, it’s rebuilt and becomes the first multi-room premises in Paris specialized in pornographic movies. Closed since 1999, La Scala has found its splendor back in September 2018 and now offers all art disciplines: theater, dance, music, new circus, visual and digital arts… There’s something for everyone! In other words, the unique occasion to discover one of the most secret venues in Paris. Let’s go, friends, shall we?
