The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) is one of the major events to look forward to in September. Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region take part in this cultural event, inviting us to explore our most beautiful treasures.
Castles, museums, monuments, churches, libraries and other well-known and lesser-known sites in the Paris region are opening their doors to us for an attractive program of visits, often free of charge, and events specially designed for the occasion. It's even time to conquer places usually closed to the public , including major institutions and ministries.

Find out what's in store for the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024.
L'Argonaute is a museum building that docked near the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in the Parc de la Villette in 1989. To welcome you on these exceptional days, submariners are on hand on both days to share their experiences with you.
In addition, an audio-guided tour gives you an insight into the daily life of a 40-man crew. Inside, decorative installations and period photos let you imagine yourself as a submariner.
Thanks to this tour, the world of submariners will hold almost no secrets for you. In particular, you'll learn about the "hot bunk" regime, the technical complexity of such a vessel, and why the Argonaute was such a remarkable agent of intelligence and special operations.
Saturday, the Argonaute is open continuously from 10am to 6pm (5pm last entry).
Sunday, the Argonaute is open continuously from 10am to 7pm (6pm last entry).
Visit from 2 years old.
