The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are held on the third weekend of September, and every year they give us the chance to visit incredible places, famous or forgotten, popular or usually inaccessible.
This cultural event celebrates its 41st edition on September 21 and 22, 2024. For the occasion, thousands of artistic, historical, religious, political or simply unusual sites are opening their doors to us in Paris and the Paris region. And most of the time, it's free! Whether you're passionate about sport, fashion, trains, gastronomy, art, the military or legal world, history or cinema, you're bound to find a place to visit during this festive and popular weekend.
An appointment like this needs to be prepared a little in advance... If only to make sure that the place you want to visit is open. In fact, many of the participating sites are only open for one day during the weekend. If you'd like to take a leisurely stroll, here's a selection of places that are only open this Sunday, September 22, 2024.
