That's right, archaeological sites in the Île-de-France region will be offering you the chance to take part in special and even exceptional visits to excavation sites that will take you on a journey into the past of the Île-de-France region.
The European Heritage Days are an essential cultural event, offering the general public the chance to rediscover the essential and little-known treasures that make up our heritage. Held every year on the third weekend in September, they invite us to enjoy free visits andexceptional openings at the heart of historic monuments,religious buildings, museums, châteaux, as well as ministries,embassies,hospitals and other fascinating places.
During the weekend, Parisians and visitors alike can enjoy free access to emblematic sites such as the Palais de l'Élysée, the Senate, theHôtel de Ville, and many others. A wide range of activities are also on offer, including guided tours, workshops, exhibitions and other events. Historic districts, major culturalinstitutions and unusual places reveal their secrets!
