Have you heard of the Journées du Patrimoine? This European event gives us the opportunity, over the course of a weekend, to visit the country's most beautiful cultural and historical sites. But the museums, castles and churches near you can be visited all year round, you might say. And it's true. That's why, during this 41st edition of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), we prefer to discover the great institutions of Paris!
During the weekend of September 21 to 22, 2024, the Elysée Palace, the Banque de France, ministries, the Senate, the National Assembly and many others will be opening their doors to us! It's an opportunity to visit these places usually closed to the public, and discover these institutions so important to our country.
Don't hesitate: come and unravel the mysteries of the places of power opened up for the occasion, and learn more about the missions of the various institutions based in the capital. To find out what's on at these very special sites, follow the guide!
