Every year, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) attract the curious and the passionate with a rich program of cultural highlights. This annual event in September invites us to discover our heritage in a whole new way. For the occasion, many cultural establishments, including museums, monuments, churches and even places usually closed to the public, play the game by unveiling a fine program of often free visits andoriginal events for young and old alike. And the least we can say is that in Paris, there's plenty to do!
This year, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) will be held for the 41st time on the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024. Why not take this opportunity to discover a lesser-known but just as fascinating heritage: that of the Ile-de-France region! Yes, it's not just the capital that can surprise you: the rest of the Île-de-France region is full of treasures!
If you're in the Hauts-de-Seine region, why not stop off at Neuilly-sur-Seine? Situated on the edge of Paris and the Bois de Boulogne, this charming commune is full of nuggets to discover! As an added bonus, you can take a green stroll in the woods, venture into the Jardin d'Acclimatation or visit the Fondation Louis Vuitton!
