The Journées du Patrimoine are back in the Paris region, bringing a host of cultural highlights to the four corners of Paris and the Île-de-France region over the course of a weekend. This year, Parisians for a day and for ever are getting ready to take part in the 41st edition, which promises a host of wonderful discoveries. This weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024, we're off to conquer the free tours, special events and exceptional openings planned in fascinating places of all kinds. Museums, monuments, major institutions, schools, chateaux, churches, fashion houses... Parisian heritage will be explored in all its glory, to the delight of enthusiasts and the curious.
And in Paris, the program is so rich that each district will unveil several ideas for special visits and unusual openings in places usually closed to the public. The 15th arrondissement is no exception, and never misses an opportunity to showcase its treasures. Here, we immerse ourselves in the Paris of artists, with iconic studios including that of sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, which houses a museum. The 15th also reveals little-known nuggets that are well worth a visit. Find out more about this year's program in this Parisian district below!
