Paris faces strong winds this December 22, 2024 linked to the Enol low-pressure system crossing France. This Sunday, Météo France has placed the capital and the rest of the Île-de-France region under yellow vigilance for the risk of strong winds. According to the weather service, gusts of up to 70-80 km/h are expected in the Paris basin between 6am and 9pm.
What are the consequences? The City of Paris has decided to close its green spaces and cemeteries as a precautionary measure this Sunday. Parks, gardens, squares and cemeteries are currently closed and will remain so throughout Sunday.
