Be prepared if you need to get to or from Paris this Wednesday, June 28, 2023 , using theA14. Sytadin reports that this freeway is closed in both directions, between Nanterre and Puteaux and between Courbevoie and Nanterre"for an indefinite period". More precisely, the road information website states that the A14 is closed in the Paris/province direction between the D933 (Boulevard Circulaire) at Courbevoie and the A86 at Nanterre, then in the province/Paris direction between the A86 at Nanterre and the D933 (Boulevard Circulaire) at Puteaux. The reason? An"incident" in the La Défense tunnel towards the provinces and Paris this Wednesday morning.
Sytadin reports that the famous La Défense tunnel, used by many motorists every day, is completely closed. Unfortunately, it is not expected to reopen immediately. It is therefore recommended to avoid travel to Paris and the provinces this Wednesday, June 28, giving preference to teleworking and limiting journeys in this sector.

However, if you need to reach Paris or the Boulevard Circulaire de la Défense from the A86 in the direction away from Nanterre, Sytadin advises motorists to take exit no. 1 to the D986 (avenue de la Commune de Paris), then head towards Nanterre (Université, Préfecture) on the D914 to get back to the Paris and La Défense directions.
Motorists wishing to reach Paris or the Boulevard Circulaire de La Défense from the A14 in the direction of Paris, should take the A86 inland towards Saint-Denis, then take exit no. 1 towards Nanterre and La Défense on the D914.
