The end of the day is going to be very difficult for the thousands ofusers of the RER C, and Transilien U and N lines. Indeed, a very important breakdown is taking place in the Versailles area and is blocking transport for an undetermined period of time, causing traffic to be interrupted until the end of the service, this Friday 14 April 2023. According to the SNCF, the failure is external to the railway network and leads to"a power supply failure in the sector of Porchefontaine" .
On the RER C line, no trains are running between Versailles-Chantiers and Massy-Palaiseau, Saint-Quentin en Yvelines and Champ-de-Mars and between Versailles-Château and Champ-de-Mars. On line N,traffic is interrupted between Paris Montparnasse and Versailles Chantiers and slowed down on the rest of the line, and completely stopped on line U. RTE teams are currently on site and are trying to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, it is recommended to use the Transilien website to find an alternative route. If you are stuck at Versailles-Chantiers, the 171 bus allows you to join the metro 9, to return to Paris. You can also take the L line to Versailles Rive Droite. Good luck!

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Montparnasse and Versailles Chantiers until the end of the service.
This is due to a breakdown on the network operator's facilities at Porchefontaine.
