Since June 16, 2023, you can ask the City of Paris to collect your large household appliances, free of charge and by appointment, in every arrondissement of the capital.

Would you like to get rid of your washing machine, oven or fridge, but getting them out of your apartment is complicated? From June 16, 2023, the city of Paris will be offering to collect these bulky items directly from your home, whatever your arrondissement, without spending a cent! From now on, large household appliances can be collected from your home, by appointment, by Ecosystem, a state-approved eco-organization.

It's a way of recycling and reusing household electrical and electronic equipment that's taking up space and serving no useful purpose. While you can always sell them rather than give them away, depending on their condition, this new service in the capital will ensure that fridges don't remain on Parisian sidewalks, with all the risks that entails.

For all your other bulky items, such as furniture or bedding, use the Paris bulky goods removal platform, also free of charge and available six days a week, which will clear them away within 48 hours.

  • Oven
  • Microwave oven
