SNCF offers 300,000 low-price tickets for August: find out how to benefit

As we all know, travel can be expensive. But the SNCF is giving us a helping hand by offering 300,000 TGV and Intercités tickets at reduced prices for the month ofAugust. Following the sale of 200,000 Intercités tickets for €19, this is a new bargain for those with last-minute plans, or simply for those who like to save money, SNCF informs us via Le Parisien.

These attractive tickets will go on sale on July 31 and August 1 for travel during the month of August. So you can take advantage of this tempting offer to visit summer destinations in France, and do so at lower cost.

• The principle is simple: tickets will be available at 29, 39 or 49 euros, depending on the destination.
  
• First come, first served. So get up early to take advantage of the best prices on the most popular routes.
  
• For a supplement of just 1 euro, you can treat yourself and travel in First Class. A golden opportunity to enjoy the superior comfort of these carriages, usually deserted during the summer months.
  

In addition to making travel more affordable, SNCF's aim is to fill the remaining trains, and in particular the first-class seats.

But that's not all. The SNCF is also thinking of young Avantage Jeune cardholders. A 10-euro voucher will be offered to them on July 17. They can use it between July 17 and September 30 for TGV or Intercités journeys until December 9.

What's more, these young travelers will benefit from a 30% discount on TGV bar card products until September 30.
