Real estate: the most expensive streets in Paris Region

The most expensive street in the Paris region is in Paris, but what about in Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines or Seine-et-Marne? Discover the most expensive streets in the Ile-de-France region by department, according to a ranking established by the Meilleurs Agents platform.

This is no surprise to anyone. While the average price per m² of an apartment in Paris is around 10,078 euros, Meilleurs Agents - the online platform for property valuations - reveals that the most expensive street in the capital is rue de Furstemberg (25,362 euros/m²), in the capital's 6th arrondissement, according to a price estimate drawn up on August 1, 2023.

But what about the rest of the Paris region? Where's the most expensive street in Yvelines or Essonne? As Le Parisien reports, Meilleurs Agents has the answer.

We start with the inner suburbs, and the Hauts-de-Seine département, where the average price per m² for an apartment is 7,004 euros, compared with 7,504 euros for a house. Unsurprisingly, Neuilly-sur-Seine is home to the most expensive street, boulevard Maurice Barrès (13,454 euros/m²). Conversely, the least expensive street is boulevard Paul-Emile Victor (9,665 euros/m²). By way of comparison, the average price per m² for an apartment in Neuilly-sur-Seine is 10,637 euros and 13,790 euros for a house.

Then there's Seine-Saint-Denis, where, again according to Meilleurs Agents, the average price per m² for an apartment is 4,430 euros and for a house 3,702 euros. And according to the platform's August 1 estimates, Montreuil is home to the department's most expensive street. It's rue des Meuniers (9,738 euros/m²). On the other hand, rue Jean Coquelin is the least expensive street in the 93 district (3,830 euros/m²), while the average price per square meter for an apartment in Montreuil is around 7,127 euros, and 6,443 euros for a house.

What about Val-de-Marne? In Val-de-Marne, where the average price per square meter is 5,458 euros for an apartment and 5,084 euros for a house, the most expensive street is in Vincennes: rue d'Idalie (12,680 euros/m²). Conversely, the least expensive street isallée Jacques Bainville (7,042 euros/m²). To give you an idea, the average price for an apartment is €9,396/m², and for a house €11,821/m².

We continue our ranking of the most expensive streets in Ile-de-France with the Seine-et-Marne département. Here, the average price per square meter is 3,368 euros for an apartment and 2,656 euros for a house. The most expensive street in 77 is Rue Magellan (5,750 euros/m²), located in the commune of Serris, while the least expensive street in the town is Cour de la Forge Comptez (4,268 euros/m²).

In Yvelines, where the average price per square meter is €4,800 for an apartment, you'd think the most expensive street would be in Versailles. However, Saint-Germain-en-Laye is home to the city's most expensive street, avenue Gambetta (12,141 euros/m²). What about the least expensive street in the town? Rue Arthur Honegger (4,501 euros/m²).

In Essonne, the most expensive street is Place Charles de Gaulle in Verrières-le-Buisson (6,215 euros/m²), while the average price per square meter in the département is 3,216 euros for an apartment and 3,111 euros for a house.

Finally, in Val-d'Oise, rue Pilloy in Enghien-les-Bains is the most expensive street (6,671 euros/m²). According to Meilleurs Agents, the average price per square meter in this town in the 95 region is €5,805 for an apartment and €6,113 for a house.
