If you want to invest in Paris real estate, now is the time! According to estimates by Meilleurs Agents, the property valuation specialists, relayed by Le Figaro Immobilier, the average price per square meter in Paris on September 1 was €9,944. This is the first time since 2019 that this price has fallen below the symbolic €10,000 mark, a price that had never been exceeded before.
In almost all of the capital's arrondissements, the price per square meter has fallen over the last twelve months. Only three are holding up well: the 8th (+1%), 4th (+1.1%) and 6th (+2.3%). Conversely, the 13th arrondissement has seen its rates fall the most drastically since last year (-7.1%).
As more and more Parisians leave the capital, and fewer and fewer buyers are interested in investing, the price per square meter is starting to plummet, after almost doubling during the 2010s. Real estate specialists expect further falls in the coming years.
