As every year, the SNCF is offering attractive discounts on its Avantage card, to enable subscribers to travel at lower cost. Different offers are available for different age groups: this discount card is for travelers aged 12 to 112.
The Avantage card must be renewed every year. The best time to do so is undoubtedly back-to-school: between the end of August and the beginning of September, SNCF often launches promotional offers. From August 29 to September 5, 2023, this Avantage card is at -50%, i.e. at 24.50 euros instead of 49 euros!
Depending on your profile, three cards are available: the Avantage Jeunes card for 12 to 27 year-olds, the Avantage Adulte card for 27 to 59 year-olds, and the Avantage Senior card for 60 year-olds and over. This subscription entitles you to reductions on ticket prices (-30%), on SNCF services (-15%), and on children's tickets if you're traveling with little ones. The SNCF specifies that, for Avantage card holders, ticket prices are capped at 49 eurosfor a journey of less than 1h30, 69 euros for a journey between 1h30 and 3h, and 89 euros for journeys costing more than 89 euros, on TGV INOUI and Intercités trains.
