What do you mean you haven't been trained in first aid yet? Fortunately, you soon will be... At present, only 40% of French people possess these crucial skills, a figure that falls short of the national target of 80%. That's why, to mark World First Aid Day on September 9, 2023, the French Red Cross will be rolling out its first aid program throughout France to raise awareness of life-saving techniques among young and old alike. In Paris, join us on the forecourt of the 19th arrondissement town hall for a free introductory day.
Every second Saturday in September since 2000, the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies have celebrated World First Aid Day. This is an opportunity to organize events, mobilizing volunteers and members of the community, to raise public awareness of the importance of first aid.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the vital role of first aid, both in everyday life and in emergency situations. In particular, it educates participants in accident and disease prevention, while also remaining accessible to marginalized groups in society.
Tell a friend, and join us in north-east Paris to learn how to save lives!
