While parties and other events are multiplying in Paris this October 31, some are redoubling their efforts to be original. Such is the case with RATP, which this morning began broadcasting special announcements in 7 of the 25 stations on line 1, which runs from La Défense to Vincennes.
At the Palais-Royal - Musée du Louvre station, line 1 users can hear an announcement modified for the occasion: " Welcome to Palais-Royal - Musée du Louvre. Belphégor will be delighted to give you a private tour ", with a rather eerie voice and the sound of a door closing in the background.
At Porte Maillot station, users are invited not to forget their " cauldrons, hats and magic wands. "
To Franklin D. Roosevelt, piano notes accompany this announcement: " Prankster spirits tell us we're coming to Frankenstein... Ooh, sorry, Franklin Roosevelt ".
Another atmosphere at La Défense, with crows cawing and this announcement: " We have arrived at La Défense class, against the forces of evil. At the end of the journey, all apprentice sorcerers are invited to dismount.
In all, these special Halloween ads, featuring eerie music, devilish laughter, ringing bells and creaking doors, can be found at 7 stations on line 1: Château de Vincennes, Châtelet, Franklin Roosevelt, La Défense, Nation, Palais-Royal - Musée du Louvre and Porte Maillot.
