Paris and Ile-de-France public transport users are used to it by now. In 2024, four lines will be extended, and work has been announced on the RER C line, which is likely to disrupt passengers' daily lives.

On the Transilien website, major works have been announced for RER line C in 2024. The aim? A total of 42 weeks of night work, 41 weeks of daytime work and 32 weekends of work, including 18 " Grands Travaux " weekends, are scheduled on the RER C line.

However, due to the Paris Olympics 2024, there will be no summer work on RER line C, from July 15 to September 7, 2024. Last summer, traffic was interrupted on the Austerlitz - Javel - Henri-Martin section for six weeks.
