As a result, Météo France has placed a number of départements under yellow alertfor wind and yellow vigilancefor rain and flooding. These include Nord, Manche, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Seine-Maritime, Marne, Ardennes, Aube, Jura, Côte-d'Or and Vosges.
What's the situation in Paris and the Ile-de-France region? The Ile-de-France region has not been spared this windy, rainy spell. For the day of November 19, 2024, Météo France has placed the capital and the whole of the Île-de-France region ( Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val-d'Oise, Yvelines,Essonne and Seine-et-Marne) under yellow vigilance for the risk of high winds, as well as under yellow alertfor rain and flooding.
According to the meteorological service, the 8 departments of the Paris region could be affected by this windy phenomenon between 12pm and 7pm on Tuesday. According to Météo France, gusts could reach 60 km/h in the inner suburbs, and up to 75 km/h in the south of Essonne.
With regard to the yellow alertfor "rain and flooding", Météo France warns that heavy rain could fall on the Ile-de-France region from 12pm. This could last until around 9pm.
