A complicated morning for passengers on the RER C line, where traffic is disrupted between Dourdan-la-Forêt and Brétigny-sur-Orge. The cause? A tree has fallen on the tracks near Breuillet station (Essonne). According to Transilien SNCF, technical teams are currently working to clear the obstacle, with resumption expected around 8am. At the same time, slowdowns are also affecting the section between Invalides and Brétigny-sur-Orge in both directions.
On the RER E, the first trains are gradually resuming service, following the resolution of a switch failure that had completely interrupted traffic between Haussmann-Saint-Lazare and Magenta-Gare du Nord. Although this line is gradually returning to normal, the repercussions are still being felt. Before 7:30 a.m., certain routes had to be modified: departures and arrivals on the Chelles-Gournay and Tournan-en-Brie branches were transferred to Magenta, and Villiers-sur-Marne users were redirected to Gare de l'Est.
In short, if you have to use these lines, you'll have to be patient or find an alternative. As rush hour approaches, we advise you to check the information on the Transilien or SNCF applications regularly to keep abreast of traffic developments.
