Do you prefer traditional brioche or flaky brioche? For all those with a sweet tooth, find out where to enjoy the best 2024 brioches in Seine-et-Marne!

After the best butter croissant in Greater Paris, the best baguettes in Ile-de-France, the best macaroon in Ile-de-France and the best cake in Hauts-de-Seine, now it's time for the best brioches in Seine-et-Marne! Organized at the end of April, this departmental competition brought together a number of bakers from the 77 region. They all had one and the same objective: to make the best brioche, the one with the gourmet look, the flaky crumb, the infallible taste.... In short, the perfect brioche that would give them the victory they'd been dreaming of, and a place on the top step of the podium.

After observing, touching, smelling and, of course, tasting a number of brioches, the jury of the Maison de la Boulangerie-Pâtisserie de Seine-et-Marne announced the winners of the 2024 competition on May 2.

Three bakeries stand out, starting with Maison Kertel. Located in Mareuil-lès-Meaux, it won first prize in the Best Brioche de Seine-et-Marne 2024 competition in the " traditional brioche " category. Boulangerie du Parc in Chelles won in the " puff pastry brioche " category. Finally, in the apprentice category, Lucas Mochado Dos Reis of the Chelles Gambetta bakery, also in Chelles, took first place.
