Good news for Parisian and Ile-de-France night owls planning to celebrate New Year's Eve 2024 and get moving in the capital on the night of December 31, 2023 to January 1, 2024. They'll once again be able to take advantage of free metro, RER and Transilien traffic to feast all night long on New Year's Eve! Find out which lines will be running and which stations will be open that night.
Are you planning to do a lot of moving around Paris on New Year's Eve 2024? Good news, because Île-de-France Mobilités, the Île-de-France transit authority, is repeating its special New Year's Eve operation. Night owls and other Parisian night owls will be able to enjoy free travel on certain metro, RER and Transilien lines all night long from December 31, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
More concretely, metro lines 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 14 will run throughout New Year's Eve in Paris. RER lines A, B, C, D and E are also scheduled to run that night. But not all stops and stations will be served.
Metro lines running all night on December 31, and stations served
- Line 1: Château de Vincennes, Nation, Gare de Lyon, Bastille, Châtelet, Concorde, George V, Charles de Gaulle Étoile, Porte Maillot, Pont de Neuilly, La Défense.
- Line 2: Nation, Père Lachaise, Belleville, La Chapelle, Barbès Rochechouart, Anvers, Pigalle, Place de Clichy, Charles de Gaulle Étoile, Porte Dauphine.
- Line 4: Porte de Clignancourt, Barbès Rochechouart, Gare du Nord, Strasbourg St-Denis, Les Halles, St-Michel, Gare Montparnasse, Denfert Rochereau, Porte d'Orléans, Mairie de Montrouge, Bagneux Lucie Aubrac.
- Line 6: Nation, Bercy, Place d'Italie, Denfert-Rochereau, Gare Montparnasse, Cambronne, La Motte Picquet-Grenelle, Trocadéro, Boissière, Kléber, Charles de Gaulle Étoile.
