The Musée Marmottan Monet presents the exhibition "Eugène Boudin, le père de l'impressionnisme : une collection particulière" from April 9 to August 31, 2025.

The 8-section exhibition traces the development of Boudin's (1824-1898) career, from his early Normandy landscapes to his final seascapes of the Midi and Venice, and follows him to Brittany, Bordeaux, the North, Belgium and the Netherlands, through sketches and ambitious paintings destined for the Salon.
