Tennis fans have something to look forward to! Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will be playing doubles together at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The news was confirmed by David Ferrer, coach of the Spanish team, at a press conference on Wednesday.

Carlos Alcaraz, recent winner of his first French Open title, will have the chance to play alongside his hero, Rafael Nadal. With 22 Grand Slam titles to his name, Nadal will bring a wealth of experience to this unprecedented duo. The Olympic tennis tournament runs from July 27 to August 4, promising memorable moments for sports fans.

This is the first time that these two Spanish talents, one aged 21 with three Grand Slams to his name, and the other, a 38-year-old veteran with 14 French Open victories, have teamed up in doubles. This alliance could well be one of the highlights of the Olympic Games.

In addition to their doubles appearances, Alcaraz and Nadal will also be competing in the individual events, giving Spain twice as many chances to shine in Paris this summer!
