Among the Olympic venues for the Paris 2024 Games is Paris Expo, the exhibition center located at Porte de Versailles, where some of Paris's biggest trade shows are held every year. Salon de l'Agriculture, Vivatech, Kidexpo... For the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the exhibition center will become the Arena Paris Sud, to host the Olympicweightlifting, table tennis, handball and volleyball events.
Built in 1923 to host the first edition of the Foire de Paris, Paris Expo now boasts six halls on a 35-hectare site, attracting over 7.5 million visitors every year. With a view to hosting the Olympic events, the exhibition center has undergone a major ten-year renovation program, to modernize the infrastructure designed to welcome the athletes.
