Paris 2024 Olympics: Cité Audacieuse's "women and sport" program

La Cité Audacieuse hasn't waited for the start of the Paris 2024 Olympics to organize a number of cultural and sporting events highlighting cross-cutting themes of sport and women's rights ! From May 14 to September 6, 2024, this venue dedicated to promoting equality and women's rights in France is unveiling a high-quality program, with the support of the Mairie de Paris.

Over the course of four months, a varied program will bring women, sport and equality together. The program includes screenings, debates, exhibitions and workshops put on by associations and sportswomen to shed light on a variety of subjects: wage inequality in sport and the sports media, stereotypes surrounding sportswomen's bodies, the subversive capacity of women in sport, the fight against sexist and sexual violence in sport, sport as a tool for reconstruction, etc.

In detail, debates, conferences and workshops on the place of women in sport have been organized from May 14 to July 3; a festival of feminist sport is being held between July 29 and August 2; and from September 2 to 6, an entire week will be dedicated to equality and disability in sport.
