Canoeing enthusiasts, the curious and families in Seine-et-Marne have their very own spot to experience the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the heart of a crazy atmosphere, where festivities and sport mingle! At the Club 2024 Family Zone Torcy, just a stone's throw from the Stade Nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne, the Olympic venue, you can enjoy free sports entertainment, concerts and live giant-screen broadcasts of the events and ceremonies, from July 26 to August 11 and then from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
It's also an opportunity to rub shoulders with athletes, to learn more about the exceptional paddling sport of canoeing-kayaking, and to take part in meetings and book signings. And why not, to celebrate medals for our French athletes! A great celebration of sport and Olympism, with an exhibition on Olympic sport, shows, concerts by local musical groups, DJ sets, initiations and other free activities.
And for even more canoeing and kayaking, the federation is also taking up residence in an Archi-Folies pavilion in the Parc de La Villette, under the name "Immersion bleutée". Here, you'll be immersed in the motion of the water, with practice on the Ourcq Canal, a play area for children, a museum area where you can admire historic boats and paddles, and a VR corner where you can try out the competition for yourself!
