The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the most eagerly awaited sporting event every four years, bring together athletes from all over the world to celebrate sportsmanship. This year's edition promises to be exceptional, right in the heart of the French capital, with many new features on the program, as well as an opportunity to see which countries will stand out and be among the best nations in the world! Among them, the Netherlands, who ranked just ahead of us in the medals table at the last Olympics.

The Dutch Olympic team has a long tradition of success at the Olympic Games. Since their first participations, Dutch athletes have made history with remarkable performances, particularly in sports such as cycling, rowing and athletics, racking up medals and world records. In Tokyo, the Netherlands achieved impressive success!

With a total of 36 medals, including 10 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze, the Dutch have shown themselves to be a force to be reckoned with on the Olympic stage. In Paris, they'll no doubt be looking to add to their medal haul and continue to make Olympic history!

The Netherlands is one of the oldest countries to take part in the Paralympic Games, with no fewer than 652 medals since the first edition! In Tokyo, they finished fifth, well ahead of France, with 59 medals, 25 of them gold.
