The Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is living up to its promise to offer spectacle and make history with this iconic competition. For the first time, the opening ceremony takes place not in a stadium, but in the very heart of the capital. Between the perforators, a succession of French and international artists will perform in a vibrant tribute to French culture in all its guises, from music to history to craftsmanship, not forgetting the wink to the great waters of Versailles through the fountains. Set against a backdrop of Parisian monuments, this floating ceremony features a succession of the capital's iconic landscapes.

By hosting this competition for the first time in 100 years, the City of Light has clearly decided to mark the occasion and pull out all the stops!
