As a reminder, breaking made its debut at Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with one-on-one (1-on-1) battles between B-boys and B-girls. Each battle consists of several rounds, where dancers perform their moves alternately, scored by a panel of five judges based on technique, creativity, musicality, performance, and style. Dancers are paired by random draw, and the winner of each battle advances to the finals. The music, provided by a DJ, forces the dancers to improvise according to the pieces played. Dany Dann was able to take advantage of this and win over the judges, ending up with the first silver medal in the history of breaking at the Olympic Games.
