After the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, taking place on July 26, 2024 on the Seine, the events of the various disciplines will be able to begin! Are you a dance fan? Don't miss the breaking events, taking place in the Place de la Concorde urban park. A highly anticipated modern discipline!
Breaking makes its debut at the Paris 2024 Olympics and celebrates hip-hop culture! The competition is split between men (b-boys) and women (b-girls). The events will take the form of"battles" where two dancers compete directly against each other, assessed by judges on criteria such as technique, creativity and musicality. The two days of competition take place on August 9 and 10, 2024, and as yet there's no confirmation that the discipline will be at the next Olympic Games, so this may be your only chance to follow the event!
