This new season arrives with the promise of rekindling the memories of die-hard fans while attracting a new generation of MCU fans. From March 20, 2024, Disney+ invites you to dive into this nostalgic universe, with one episode a week out of a total of 10.
This new odyssey into the X-Men universe plunges us back into the intense struggles and moral dilemmas of this iconic group of mutants. Armed with extraordinary powers, they fight to protect a world that despises them, in the context of the 90s, revisited here. In X-Men '97, the mutant team faces unprecedented challenges, navigating between hope and despair in a future as uncertain as it is perilous. Legendary figures such as Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Jubilee and many others make their grand return.
On the technical side, Beau DeMayo, known for his work on Moon Knight, takes on the role of lead screenwriter. Direction is handled by a team including Jake Castorena, Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura. Produced by a team of Marvel veterans including Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Beau DeMayo, X-Men '97 promises to be THE Marvel animated series of the moment.
