La Semaine de la Critique has just revealed its official selection for the Cannes Film Festival 2024, just a few days after the announcement of the official competition and the Un Certain Regard selection. Join us from May 15 to 23, 2024, to discover the 63rd edition of this parallel competition.
Chaired by Spanish director, screenwriter and producer Rodrigo Sorogoyen, the jury includes Rwandan actress Eliane Umuhire, French producer Sylvie Pialat, Belgian cinematographer Virginie Surdej, and Canadian journalist and film critic Ben Croll.
Together, they will be responsible for awarding the Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique to the best feature film, the Prix French Touch du Jury, the Prix Fondation Louis Roederer de la Révélation to the best actress, and the Prix Découverte Leitz Ciné to the best short film.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, Critics' Week general delegate Ava Cahen revealed the 11 first and second features to be selected, as well as 10 shorts.
