On Thursday April 11, 2024, Thierry Frémaux and Iris Knobloch unveiled the Un Certain Regard selection for the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, to be held on the Croisette from May 14 to 25, 2024. This year's prestigious selection features 18 films from around the world in competition.
The Un Certain Regard selection is a parallel section of the Cannes Film Festival that showcases audacious and different films. Among the 18 films in this competition, which showcases varied and committed works that reflect the evolution of contemporary cinema and the sensitivity of directors to current issues, we find established filmmakers alongside emerging talents .
