Virtual reality, a market that's gaining momentum in Paris and the Paris region... After Virtual Room, VirtualTime, The Edge and Terragame in Corbeil-Essonnes, DreamAway has now set up shop in Herblay-sur-Seine, in the Val-d'Oise region.
What's special about this new 500m2 center, located in the heart of Herblay's Patte d'Oie? More than just gaming! And with good reason, DreamAway invites the curious to take part in immersive cultural experiences, via VR, or first-aid training. Each experience lasts between 25 and 50 minutes (depending on what you choose to experience), for a fun-filled time with family (from age 9), friends or colleagues.
As for cultural experiences, come and dive into the heart of history, with an experience based onAnne Franck, but also into art, with another experience based on Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Claude Monet orArnold Böcklin. The gaming section is more traditional, inviting you to discover a whole range of VR experiences in a 9m2 enclosed space: Incarna, Yucatan, Assassin's Creed VR, Prince of Persia VR... there's something for every escape game enthusiast.
For those in the know, the Mission Eclipse VR experience is also available, taking immersion a step further: here, you don't stay cooped up in your 9m2 space, but go on an adventure with a computer connected to the headset on your back. And for Team Building and other corporate events, note that the company can accommodate up to 100 people, and offers services specially developed to encourage collaboration and dialogue.
An establishment we were able to discover... The space is really well thought-out and welcoming, a far cry from the small Parisian rooms, and offers a nice variety of experiences, admittedly not as many as other Parisian centers, but these have the merit of standing out from the crowd. As far as experiences are concerned, we were able to test a VR escape game, Assassin's Creed: Escape The Lost Pyramid. A breathtaking adventure in the heart of a pyramid, where you'll have to solve various puzzles as a team to recover a fragment of the Apple of Eden.
But be warned: this experience can make you dizzy, and is not recommended for those suffering from vertigo. This is far from being a problem, as the company offers a wide range of experiences... One of these will undoubtedly suit you better. And if you're afraid of going so far from Paris, don't worry: firstly, because it's not that far, and secondly, because there's plenty to do in the area (shopping, restaurants, leisure activities...). It's a great place to spend the day and get away from it all.
And above all, a great place to spend the afternoon playing games or learning new things... Shall we book the weekend, folks?
