The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: our tips for unlocking the secret Duplicate power

After causing a sensation with Breath of the Wild, Nintendo returns with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch, available since May 12, 2023. A game that enchants with its complexity, but also and above all with the wealth of secrets to unlock. Today, we turn our attention to the enigmatic Duplicate power, a precious ally for saving and instantly reproducing your constructions thanks to Emprise. Not sure how to unlock this power? We'll show you how, and speed up your progress in the game.

First of all, note that when you begin your adventure, you learn four powers that are essential to progress in the game:

• Emprise - which lets you move objects at a distance and build vehicles and other structures by gluing them together.
• Amalgamation - which lets you combine a weapon (or shield) with an object to improve it.
• Infiltration - which lets you pass through ceilings and act as a screen.
• Hindsight - which lets you reverse the course of time on certain objects, without altering the rest of your environment.

The final power is Duplicate, which allows you to instantly build any vehicle you've already built, but which isn't taught to you from the start. And to find it, you'll have to look for it!

The journey to acquire Duplicata requires certain steps. To begin with, you need to have completed the quest"People in the Deep". After that, return to Josha, your precious ally in the game. She's at the Watchtower. Catch her talking to Tauro, follow her discreetly, and she'll launch you on a new adventure: exploring the"Temple of the Deep". Once you've completed your mission, teleport to the underground Lay Usus Root, which you've just unlocked.

The key to the Duplicate quest area can be found in the temple in question. Follow the path indicated by the first statue you encounter, following its gaze. This will lead you to a second statue, and so on, until you reach a ruin teeming withSoneau artifacts.

Another time-saving solution is to head west to the Forest of Time (via the Qami Zuna Sanctuary) to theNorthern Abyss of the Prelude.

From here, plunge headfirst into the abyss, continue east and immediately on your right is the Inog Qoyg Root.

From the root, you should be able to see a faint glow in the distance - this is your final destination!

At the end of your journey, a light will appear: the Great Central Abandoned Mine. Further progress will bring you to two Yigs and a green seal. Interact with the seal to unlock both the teleportation point and the famous Duplicate power.

Congratulations! You've successfully unlocked Duplicata.

However, the dungeon adventure isn't over yet, as a boss awaits you just beyond. Note that you can face him later by teleporting, and enjoy your new toy... To your joysticks!
