"According to a mysterious letter, a priceless treasure has been hidden for years: an egg by the famous jeweler Fabergé. Secrets Hunters sends you back to 1993 to explore the mansion of a wealthy English collector and investigate. Will you be able to trace this lost treasure?
This experience is not only a journey back in time, but also an immersion in a universe where history meets mystery. Our test of the Lost Treasure of Fabergé room at Secrets Hunters :
So, what's this room worth at Secrets Hunters? We're off to the Place de la Nation to discover this experience, due to open at the end of 2023. On arrival, we're thrown straight into the deep end by our friendly game master, who takes us to the scene of the tragedy. After an explanation of the rules and recommendations, we enter a room with a video screen: this is the mission briefing. It's worth noting that each room is equipped with a first screen for a state-of-the-art briefing.
And that's the whole point of Secrets Hunters ' rooms: they're innovative, using a great deal of technology for puzzles and other game master aids. Without spoilers, in the case of Fabergé's Treasure, we loved the way clues and other instructions were transmitted to us each time we got stuck, via an "animal presence" that amused us greatly (in addition to a tablet we give you at the beginning).
As for the riddles, they gave us a hard time. Not that they were complicated or anything, far from it, but most of the time, the solution is so obvious that you can't even see it. It's well thought-out, it forces us to think differently, and it spices up the room's mystery-solving, which makes a change from classic escape games where the riddles and mechanisms can look the same and no longer surprise regulars.
As for the decor, it's ultra-immersive and very well done. Note that the last room is a little "sporty" and will require you to be dexterous and flexible (we'll say no more). The ending, on the other hand, is gripping, requiring you to think fast to find the famous egg. In short, we loved it... Go for it!
Secrets Hunters, beyond this escape game, is renowned for its innovative and immersive approach. Since opening at the end of 2022 on Place de la Nation, the brand has made a name for itself with captivating scenarios, original mechanisms and settings worthy of the silver screen. The adventures on offer are designed to provide unforgettable, emotionally-charged moments for friends, families or colleagues.
In addition to The Lost Treasure of Fabergé, Secrets Hunters also features two other rooms: The Disappearance of the Zanetti Train, where players investigate the disappearance of an Italian luxury train in 1911, and La Fête Foraine Tivoli, an investigation into mysterious disappearances in 1906 around an enigmatic funfair. An opportunity to become a detective for the duration of the adventure and solve one of art history's greatest mysteries. Shall we book a session, folks?
